Goals: Students will utilize the website: http://illuminations.nctm.org/Activity.aspx?id=3565 to practice what they have learned while playing the “Chicken Game” in a whole group instruction. They will practice and play the game throughout the week and possibly the next week. As the students participate in the game, and computer program, the teacher has ample opportunities to assess student understanding. At the end of the two week sessions, students will have the basic knowledge of greater, or less than using a variety of explanations to express their answers.
